The Officers of Marion #6

Russell Royce

Worshipful Master

Russell Royce is a lifelong resident of Linn County with a deep-rooted commitment to his community and the Masonic fraternity. A proud graduate of the Marion High School Class of 1971, he continued his education at Southwest Minnesota State University (SMSU), graduating in 1978.

Worshipful Master Russell’s professional career is defined by stewardship and education. He dedicated years of service to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources for the Cities of Iowa City and Cedar Rapids, ensuring the well-being of the region’s environment and infrastructure. Passing his expertise to the next generation, he also served as a vocational education instructor at Kirkwood Community College.

At home, he shares his life with his significant other, Vicki Terronez. He is the patriarch of a thriving family, including two children, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren—a legacy that remains his greatest pride.

Brother Royce began his journey in the Craft when he was Raised to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason on October 10, 2019. Since that day, he has been a tireless worker for the fraternity, particularly within the High Twelve organization.

Being Worshipful Master is not his first experience in a Masonic leadership position. Russell belongs to High Twelve where he is Past President of the High Twelve North Central Association (NCA) and currently serves as the 2nd Vice-President of the NCA. He is also President of Cedar Rapids High Twelve Club No. 7.

Russell is also an active member in the Scottish and York Rites.
