Ken originally hails from Texas and has been living in Iowa since 2014.  He is a Vietnam Veteran and served 10 years in the US Army.  The vast majority of his adult life has been spent in various roles within the Aerospace and Defense industry including stints with General Dynamics, Hughes Helicopters, McDonnell  Douglas Helicopters and Rockwell Collins.  He is active in veteran affairs and was the Founder of the Veteran Employee Resource Group at Rockwell Collins.   In addition, Ken established and runs an Equine Program for Vets and their families at Miracles in Motion in Swisher, IA.  He is also a member of the Board of Directors for The Valor Board, an organization which deals with homeless and near homeless vets.

Ken joined Marion #6 in 2018 and was raised on May 29th, 2018.

Ken lives in Marion with the love of his life Ginny and their two dogs Cody and Rusty.
